Stella Lemaine

A young Quebec artist of Haitian descent, Stella Lemaine is a versatile performer. Involved in theatre since childhood, she is also interested in singing, writing and, more recently, directing. In 2019, she directed her first short documentary, Prendre sa lumière, which was presented at Montréal’s Black Film Festival in Montréal (as well as in Toronto and Halifax) as part of the “Being Black in Montreal” program. A recent graduate (2022) of the acting program at UQAM’s École supérieure de théâtre, she is always excited to share her passion and perspective with the world.
