PRODCAN is an audiovisual production company specializing in the recording of classical music concerts, operas and new contemporary works. Founded in Montreal in 2017, PRODCAN’s mission is to promote Canadian artists at home and internationally. In this regard, the company plays a leading role in showcasing Canadian musical creation, with close to 40 recordings annually produced in partnership with leading orchestras and institutions, from the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal to Canada’s National Arts Centre Orchestra, by way of the Opéra de Montréal, L’Opéra de Québec, the Concours musical international de Montréal, the Orchestre symphonique de Québec, Les Violons du Roy, and renowned full-service creative studios such as Moment Factory and Normal Studio.

PRODCAN is involved in all areas of audiovisual production, from scripting to post-production. As a recognized streaming specialist, PRODCAN also offers a live transmission service for television and digital broadcasters. 

PRODCAN is the official Canadian partner producer of medici.tv, the world leader in broadcasting online classical music concerts. 

It also holds worldwide rights for some of these recordings, and issues broadcasting licences for television, the web and radio. Its catalogue currently includes some 15 titles filmed in HD/4K.
